Obama's decision to use complete sentences in his public pronouncements carries with it certain risks, since after the last eight years Americans may find his odd speaking style jarring.

Madness and stupidity are, alas, not limited to the arena of war. The publishing world seems to also have stepped in it, and will now leave us its grimy footprints to follow on the real Bridge to Nowhere.
Alaska politics tends to focus on the corruption and conviction of Alaska politicians and the latest comings and goings of our governor. So, when something like this lands in my inbox, it stops me in my tracks.
Years ago, I briefly dated an attractive, intelligent therapist. I thought we were two peas in a garden-variety neurotic pod until she described how she'd telephonically healed a client's tumor.
The world does not know what to do with its primed intellect, having just covered the election of a lifetime. What now?
Now, if you were standing between Sarah Palin and a camera, you'd be stampeded. It's like she's morphed into the creepy Norma Desmond at the end of Sunset Boulevard.
Obama made clear that he would not remain passive in the face of tactics such as the Willie Horton ad that undermined the 1988 campaign of Dukakis or the Swift Boat attacks against Kerry.

I just want to know where are the flowers for the other governors? Boutonnieres or corsages!!! This reeks of something!!! Sexism!!! That's it!! "Corsage Gate!!" Is she really worth that much to us? Do we really have to be reminded how insipid she is? When it's really noteworthy like she's going to prison for fraud. Or she's being impeached . Or even if she's found naked in the woods with Rev Muthee and the rest of her cabal exorcising politically incorrect witches. Then put in the news. Meanwhile just let the two-faced vixen gather dust in Alaska. Thank You
