The son of immigrant parents, Stefan Sirucek grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts with stars in his eyes and oysters in his ears. He graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College and worked as a journalist before moving to Germany to complete a Fulbright scholarship. He enjoys paella, paper products, and writing about himself in the third person. He lives in Berlin.
