Barack Obama has shut down his Twitter account but John McCain has not. Hmmmm, no exit strategy.

@ev1 I still haven't gotten over the shock of seeing the nation elect a black man with the name Barack Obama of all things. Truly amazing.

I certainly think the President is the leader of the country in the sense that we all take from his example. Honesty, articulation of thought over memorization of talking points and, nost importantly, a strong command of the English language are qualities we could all stand to improve on.

I am, of course, suggesting that eight years of Bush has effectively dumbed us all down. Judging by the numbers that voted for McCain, it seems we haven't fully recovered yet.

But the relationship he has with his wife is truly an eye opener. And I think something every couple should strive for.

The famous "terrorist fist jab" pic said it all to me. The instant I saw it, I thought "that's how I want a woman to look at me." Well, actually the thought that ran through my head was "that dude's SO getting laid tonight," but it amounts to the same thing. That's not a look at, that's a look right through.

Lucky man.

Boy,I'm pretty thick when it comes to this stuff, but I noticed it in the 60 Minutes interview, too. In the beginning, when it was just Obama being asked the questions,he looked serious. In the next segment with Michelle,he just looked so relaxed - I could swear he was even sitting up straighter. They were going off on their own tangents, like about doing the dishes.I wonder how much they edited out...it looked like they could go on and on with each other for another 20 minutes.
If they can transmit this stuff through the TV, they must literally give off sparks in person!
I think Michelle should put out some cologne for men and call it "Obama" (whisperrr...). It would sell like CRAZY!

I agree wholeheartedly with you. And while the cologne suggestion made me laugh, it is a great idea. Only thing is i don't think Michelle would capitalize on their relationshio or their names in that way. But go for it. It would sell especiallly if it is an alluring and pleasant scent.
