Bailing Out Dan Quayle
The battle over the bailout of some segments of the US auto industry has become increasingly defined in terms of class, but this hides the fact that the same type of players will benefit from both bailouts.

Yes, there should be headlines that say "Shame!" but this ignorant want-to-be-thug of a governor is a small fish a few states away from the mother of all corrupt ponds, Washington D.C.

With even Miami's hardline Congressional delegation asking for official US assistance, Rice stands alone in her obstinacy towards Cuba.

In the annals of U.S.-Russian relations, Secretary of State Rice has proven once again to be not up to the task at effectively managing the one area of foreign policy that is her principal area of expertise -- U.S.-Russian relations.

This week FARC got Punk'd; More of the Same McCain got even more so by putting a Rove acolyte at the controls of his campaign; and Condi Rice showed how limited her imagination is, saying the Iraq war has been "tougher than any of us dreamed." Actually, Madame Secretary, many people were wide awake before the war and warned that it would be a nightmare. Of course, Rice has displayed her tragic lack of imagination before, claiming no one "could have predicted" terrorists flying airplanes into buildings before 9/11 despite the fact that, in the words of the 9/11 Commission, such a "possibility was imaginable, and imagined" by multiple government and law enforcement agencies. Perhaps upon her return to Stanford, she can enroll in some imagination expansion courses.

Leave Michelle Obama alone. Train a camera on any black person long enough and you'll get footage of him/her saying something derogatory about white people. After all, you white folk are everywhere!
