Wow, "girlkiwi." Like, wow. And also, therefore, too (as Sarah Palin would likely say).

You really don't get it, do you? Sarah Palin was/is, singlehandedly, the least qualified person ever to be handed the nomination for Vice President of the United States of America. To say this is "sexist"? "Bashing"? Katie Couric was "condescending"? You, my friend, are SEXIST. A male candidate would have been "fired" from the ticket immediately if he had given similar answers to such softball questions. Give me a break. Finally, let me point out that you defeat your proposition and completely nullify your credibility when you assert that "republicans are stupid." FYI: I am an independent who has voted for Republicans in the past. I take my responsible as a voting citizen of the United States of American VERY SERIOUSLY.

The general view amongst these people who got to interview Palin is that she'll be back. She got a taste and now she won't be content to stay in that backwater Alaska.
Well, perhaps with the economy tanking and America struggling, the idea of being well educated will not be such a joke to Americans.
Perhaps when Ms. Palin rears her head up from the West again, her poor showing on basic education will disgust many Americans - especially young Americans. After all, she is a woman who has two children out of high school and neither of them graduated. That's OK when our country needs the best educated citizens it can produce?
No, Ms. Palin's time is over if we're to succeed and excel.
I'm hoping more for a quick interest in excellence. The type of children showcased in Homer Hickham's book, ROCKET BOYS. The type of Americans who see challenges from around the world and meet those challenges with excellence. Ms. Palin does not embody that.
