Interesting article, but as ordinary expert myself I see it as the internet is what may make Sarah Palin impossible. Without the internet selling "Mrs. Palin goes to Washington" would have been a whole lot easier. At least no candidate will gamble this way again with someone they haven't vetted. Its probably too much to hope for that this will be the last cynical appeal to the base.
