Ellen Shares 'Finding Dory' Trailer, Makes Us Feel All Warm And Fuzzy

It’s been 13 years since the bubbly, forgetful fish swam into our lives in Pixar's "Finding Nemo" and this year, Dory will be getting a movie of her own.

We got our first taste of the sequel on Thursday, when Ellen Degeneres blessed the world with an exclusive trailer of "Finding Dory".

The highly anticipated first look opens with a wide eyed, confused Dory listening to some school-aged stingrays on a field trip being taught about migration.

“Stingray migration is about going home, which is where you’re from,” the teacher stingray is heard saying.

Suddenly, Dory’s memory is jogged.

“My mum.. my dad! I have a family.”

And so, the big hearted blue tang finds old friends Nemo and Marlin as well as Crush the turtle and Bloat the blowfish and embarks on the ultimate journey to find her family.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a 2016 release without its own hashtag. We expect #HaveYouSeenHer to start trending in due course.

Finding Dory is in cinemas June 17.
