Met Gala 2017: Forget The Red Carpet, The Real Action Was In The Loos

The bathroom was flush with famous faces.

While the 2017 Met Gala had a lot of people talking yesterday, from the celebs not following the theme to Rihanna's annual crowning as Queen of the red carpet, the real action was going down somewhere a little less glamorous: the loos.

Unsurprisingly one of the most iconic snaps of the evening came from Kylie Jenner, seeming to cement the women's bathroom as the place to be. The selfie is LOADED with stars like her sisters Kim and Kendall, ASAP Rocky, Paris Jackson, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Brie Larson (who tweeted that she was just there to actually use the bathroom).

In 2015, Met Gala chair and "Vogue" editor-in-chief Anna Wintour apparently banned social media, which was later reduced to simply banning "selfies" (aka the act of taking a photo of oneself by oneself). While the motive behind the ban was apparently to do with respecting the privacy of those in attendance, Wintour probably isn't entirely stoked to see just how many people ignored her wishes.

During the event it looked like the women's bathroom was turned into a makeshift smoking lounge, where the who's who of the gala rubbed elbows, and everything else, while lighting up.
