The Teskey Brothers: A New Aussie Soul Band With An Unbelievable Sound

Ahhh, Otis Redding, is that you?!

If you love soul music, there's a new Aussie band dipping into its funky, vintage roots. Actually, if you just love good music in general, you'll bloody love The Teskey Brothers.

Melbourne brothers Sam and Josh Teskey along with Liam Gough (drums) and Brendon Love (bass) have been making music together for over 10 years. It's clearly given them plenty of time cultivate a genuine blues and soul sound with some cracking original songs.

They even have a fan in Australia's own Chris Hemsworth.

With their music reminiscent of genres legends like Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, and BB King, the band released their debut LP 'Half Mile Harvest' just this year.

HuffPost Australia caught up with The Teskey Brothers during their tour Australia. And well, we'll let the music speak for itself.

The Teskey Brothers are touring Australia now. You can find dates and venues over here. Their debut album 'Half Mile Harvest' was released January 2017, and can be found here.
