2013 has been quite a year! As many of us are resting (or recovering) from New Year's celebrations, we often take these next few days to make resolutions, reflect on the year gone by and establish hopes and dreams for the coming year.

As with any reflection, we look back to the trends in design that reigned supreme. 2013 was full of resurgence, we saw the return of warm metal decor, sleek and stylish wallpaper and incorporating an relaxed outdoor spaces to name a few.

Here are some fantastic 2013 trends that we hope to see continue well into 2014 and a couple that we hope slip into obscurity.
