It's a poignant look back at the flood that led to 100,000 Albertans being evacuated and that claimed four lives in late June.
Canadian Press videographers returned to the scene of some of the most dramatic flooding in Calgary and the High River area and shot video to contrast footage taken during the flood that starting on June 19 almost completely inundated High River, Calgary's downtown core and caused severe damage as far as Canmore and Siksika.
Footage shows how life has returned back to normal as it looks back at houses surrounded by four or five feet of water, the Bow River cresting its banks and entire sections of highway disappearing under dark, muddy waters.
The flooding, which resulted in 32 individual states of local emergencies, is described by the provincial government as the worst in Alberta's history and may in the end have a total loss cost as high as five billion dollars.
