Comedian Turns Tables On Thoughtless Gay Comments (VIDEO)

WATCH: If Gay Guys Spoke Like Straight Guys

Canadian comedian Daniel-Ryan Spaulding is poking fun at those well-meaning, but completely tone deaf, individuals among us who routinely say the most offensive things to gay friends and don't realize it.

Spaulding posted a humourous video called "If Gay Guys Said the Shit Straight People Say…" last month that went viral with more than 1.7 million video views.

The video, shot in the same vein as the popular "Shit Girls Say" series, brilliantly illustrated the bias at the heart of these comments by turning the tables and having a gay man speak to his straight friend.

"I think heterosexuality is natural … you see it in so many species," he says to a silent sidekick, call him a straight man if you want. "I get it. You were born this way. I mean it's not like anyone would choose to be straight."

You get the idea.

Spaulding received a ton of feedback from Twitter and Facebook following the first video, so he posted Part 2 this week.
