Ashley Diana Morris, Vancouver Model, Cast In 'Full House' Movie

Vancouver model Ashley Diana Morris is branching out with a major role in a Lifetime movie about the '90s sitcom "Full House."

Morris, whose big break came in 2013 as a Guess model, is playing Rebecca Romijn in "The Unauthorized Full House Story." Filmed in Vancouver, the movie airs on August 22.

“I feel so grateful and honoured to be playing the talented Rebecca Romijn," said Morris in a news release. "It was a fantastic time on set with a great cast and crew and I hope this is the start of many more roles to come my way."

Morris, who had a role on Global TV's short-lived Canadian teen drama series "The Best Years," has been featured as a model in campaigns for Skechers and Maxim. She also blogs for The Huffington Post.

"Full House" is an ABC sitcom that ran from 1987-1995, starring John Stamos, Bob Saget, and twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. A reboot is in the works for a full season on Netflix.
