Autism service dogs are highly trained animals that offer children living with autism both companionship and safety. They go everywhere with the kids -- school, the mall, doctor's appointments -- helping them build independence and cope with their anxiety and fears.
The bond between these dogs and their mini-humans is strong. Just look at these touching photos posted by parents of children with autism on Instagram to see the difference service animals can make in the lives of the whole family.
