Breastfeeding is a beautiful and natural thing, yet many mothers have been shamed for doing it in public. That’s why National Breastfeeding Month was created in the U.S. to combat the stigma surrounding the act and to create a community of support.

For even more awareness, August 1 to 7 is World Breastfeeding Week this year.
