When Carly Rae Jepsen took the stage at Sunday’s Juno Awards in Regina, Sask., we weren’t expecting such a revealing show.
The Canadian pop star wore a simple white wrap dress to perform her breakout hit ‘Call Me Maybe,’ but stripped to reveal an edgy outfit, complete with high-waist shorts and a risqué top, during her rendition of ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You.’
The look is certainly a departure for the 27-year-old, known for her girl-next-door image. We especially were surprised to see her rock some thigh-high tights with safety pins in them, given that Carly Rae appeared in a sunny yellow gown on the Junos red carpet earlier.
While the singer’s outfit change came as a shock, her several award wins last night didn't – she took home three awards, for album of the year, single of the year and pop album of the year.
Do you think her stage outfits were a win?
