Lululemon founder Chip Wilson apologized after comments he made about how some women's bodies "just don't actually work" with his company's pants in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Tuesday created a firestorm of criticism.

In a YouTube video uploaded on Friday, Wilson is seen against a blank background, saying that he's "really sad."

"I'm sad for the repercussions of my actions, I'm sad for the people of Lululemon who I care so much about that have really had to face the brunt of my actions," he says. "I take responsibility for all that has occurred, and the impact it has had on you."
