Cory Monteith is gone long before his time, but his positive message for fans lives on.
In what Good Morning America is identifying as the "Glee" actor's final video, Monteith delivers a touching message to a young fan.
The short video recorded on a flight to Vancouver, shows Monteith advising young fan Mallory to "stay out of trouble and stay in school."
The video appears to have first surfaced on the Little Glee Princess Tumblr. A post there from early in the week explains the circumstances surrounding the video.
Many fans who had met Monteith remembered the actor fondly as a nice, gracious and caring person.
One fan experienced this when she met him on an Air Canada flight from Japan to Vancouver.
A flight attendant approached Monteith and asked him to say a few words on video to her boyfriend’s daughter, Mallory, who is a big fan of the Glee actor.
The flight attendant said he was very friendly and chatty and gladly let her take the video.
The world has clearly lost a class act.
