'OITNB' Star Dascha Polanco Shows Off Thighs At NYFW To Address Body Image

"This is me, this is who I am, this is real. I was made this way."

Among a crowd of A-list actresses and Insta-famous bloggers, Dascha Polanco stood out this New York Fashion Week. Sure, for her amazing fashion choices and stunning beauty looks, but also for the body positive reasons behind her choice to wear no pants.

After being open about designers refusing to dress women of her size, the actress, who is best known for her role as Daya Diaz in the hit Netflix show "Orange is the New Black," proved she was the queen of slay by showing off her thighs to embrace her body (the body that many designers have refused to dress).

"[Stylist] Darius Baptist thought that I should wear a bodysuit and just show my thighs, since I’m so self-conscious about them," the 33-year-old told Vanity Fair of her outfit, which consisted of a glitzy floor-length duster with various sequins and crystal embellishments and an intricate bodysuit, worn at The Blonds' runway show.

"But fuck it, this is me, this is who I am, this is real. I was made this way. There’s people that are paying for this," she told Vanity Fair of her ensemble.

PREACH. IT. GIRL!

And her Blonds look wasn't the only #OOTD that had us bowing down. Polanco also wore two stunning looks from Philipp Plein — one to the Harper's Baazar Icons party...

... and another to the Nike Kids Rock Cocktails & Canapes event.

It's official: we now have a new body image queen!
