Deer Encounter Near Vernon Is Incredibly Cute (VIDEO)

WATCH: Deer Makes Friends

A Vernon teenager made a "deer" friend after a buck took a liking to him along the shore of Kalamalka Lake on Wednesday night.

A YouTube video posted by user Maegan Higgins shows the deer getting cozy with her 17-year-old son Miles as a voice laughs in the background.

"Oh my God," the voice says, giggling. "I think he's trying to rub the fur off of his face."

The two first spotted the white-tailed deer about 15 feet away before it came up and started getting friendly, Global News reported.

But that wasn't the end of the encounter. The deer then followed the pair to their truck and stuck his head inside another vehicle's passenger window.

Higgins described the experience as something "you'll never see again in your lifetime."
