Doors Open Vancouver Gives You Access To Some Of City's Most Popular Buildings

Go Behind The Scenes At Vancouver's Most Interesting Buildings

Ever walked by Vancouver City Hall or the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and wondered what goes on behind closed doors?

For one day only, you have the chance to find out.

Doors Open Vancouver is holding its inaugural event on Saturday, Oct. 4. The free public day takes you behind the scenes to some of the city's most popular and interesting buildings, including the Orpheum Theatre, the National Works Yard, and the False Creek Energy Centre.

Similar events have taken place in cities such as Richmond, London, New York, and Toronto.

Here's a taste of what's in store:

With 20 buildings participating this year, it's suggested that you plan your day in advance; some tours also require that you sign up beforehand.
