Elizabeth May Visits HuffPost: What Do You Want To Ask The Green Leader?

The Green Party leader will visit HuffPost on Friday and we want to know what you want to know.

Elizabeth May believes Greens could play a key role in what she expects will be a minority Parliament after the election. Maybe even the kind that balances power.

But as New Democrats and Liberals battle for the so-called change vote, May is doing her best to convince Canadians that a vote for the Greens is not a waste, even in a tight election.

Her performance at the first leaders' debate won some rave reviews, but was not enough to get her an invite to three other events.

Her party was the first to release a full platform that included bold ideas beyond fighting climate change, like eliminating tuition fees for low-income university and college students.

And she has pushed repeatedly for electoral reform, saying that ending Canada's first-past-the-post electoral system would be her top priority.

May will visit The Huffington Post Canada's offices on Friday for a one-on-one interview with Ottawa bureau chief Althia Raj.

Do you have a question for the leader of the Green Party of Canada? Tell us in the comments and Raj may select your question to ask May, directly.

You can also reach out to us on our Facebook pages — The Huffington Post Canada and The Huffington Post Canada Politics — and Althia Raj's page. You can also send us a question on Twitter with the hashtag, #AskLizMay.

While we expect tough questions, you'll be more likely to get an answer if you keep things respectful. And don't forget to check back here to watch the interview and read her answers.
