The Pee In Pools Is What's Making Your Eyes Red

If your eyes are red, someone peed in the pool.

If this doesn't make you hold in your pee until you're done swimming, we aren't sure what will.

In an interview with Women's Health, a CDC official confirmed that it's not the chlorine in pools that's bothering your eyes — it's other people's urine that's bonding with the chemicals and affecting your vision, and potentially your lungs.

So on that note, we'll just quote a backyard sign that's been a favourite for years: "Welcome to our Ool. Notice there's no P in it. Please keep it that way."
