Dad might dish out a lot of corny jokes, but every once in a while, he also shares some serious advice.

And although it sometimes sounds like a lecture — you can almost always be sure it's really just some tips from the life lessons he's already learned.
But perhaps the best advice of all is to simply avoid complicating matters. According to CNBC, billionaires Bill Gates and Warren Buffet both believe everything in life is easier when you keep things simple.
