Hadrien Trudeau Charms Washington Seconds After Arrival

This kid.

As soon as the Trudeaus stepped off the plane in Washington, D.C., their youngest son, Hadrien, completely stole the show.

The prime minister is on his first visit to the U.S. since being sworn in last fall. Most of the anticipation about the trip is towards the state dinner — the first held for a Canadian leader in 19 years.

But on Wednesday, the photographers couldn't keep their lenses off of two-year-old Hadrien at Andrews Airforce Base.

Hadrien danced around his father's legs as a military band greeted the family, including wife Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau, as well as the couple's older children, Xavier and Ella-Grace.

Students from Patterson Elementary School greeted the family with flying flags from both countries and handshakes.

Hadrien, however, preferred to dole out some high fives.

The toddler was sporting a simple grey golf shirt with pants very similar to his older brother's. And we have to say, we love his tousled curls.

After photos and greetings, the family were on their way — and if cuteness is any measure of success, the Trudeaus' trip to Washington is off to a very good start.
