Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau has enlisted some unlikely helpers to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
In a video posted to the Liberal Part of Canada's YouTube channel, his wife Sophie and two of his children sit on a slide above him as they pour the ice-cold water on his head. Trudeau says that he's doing the challenge in memory of a friend that died from ALS.
Trudeau isn't the only federal politician to accept the challenge. NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair did it on Thursday, as did Justice Minister Peter MacKay on Friday. Prime Minister Stephen Harper declined to do the challenge and tweeted that he planned to make a donation instead.
