Lady Gaga may dress like she lives in La La Land, but could she be carrying a passport for Ford Nation?
During a promotional visit to Toronto this week, Lady Gaga was asked about Mayor Rob Ford, who had just been mocked in the cold-open of last weekend's "Saturday Night LIve," which she hosted and performed on.
"At least he's honest," she said according to the Toronto Sun in response to a question about the city's crack-smoking top official. "I think this is the age we live in that nobody can make mistakes without being drawn up to the heavens."
"I don't know [Ford] personally. I wouldn't want to pass any judgment. I did think the skit was funny. I like to poke fun at myself or poke fun at others) ... I think that people don't know that about my personality, that I'm a really big goofball and I love making people laugh."
Well, I guess that explains why Gaga described Rob Ford as "honest."
Fans reportedly chanted "Gaga for Mayor" when she arrived at a Monday fans-only Q&A event and to be honest, she'd actually make a less weird one than Ford.
