Lily-Rose Depp Lands Her First Chanel Campaign

Following in her mother's footsteps!

We called it -- Lily-Rose Depp is fashion's newest It-girl...at least when it comes to Chanel.

After making appearances at the French fashion house's Metiers d'Art and haute couture shows, the 15-year-old spawn of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis has solidified her "in" with the iconic brand as its newest ambassador.

Depp follows in the footsteps of her mother, a longtime muse and ambassador of Chanel, fronting the brand's Pearl eyewear collection campaign.

In the ad photographed by Karl Lagerfeld (who hand-picked Depp himself), Lily-Rose "plays a baby doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity." She wears round Chanel sunglasses frames adorned with pearls and a white button-down blouse with embroidered details at the collar and sleeves. Her hair is left in a tousled bob, and dark lips complete the dramatic look.

"Lily-Rose is stunning, she's a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star," Lagerfeld said in a press release.

The Pearl eyewear collection campaign will appear in print come September 2015 -- in the meantime you can watch a short clip from the shoot in the video above.
