Miley Cyrus is just doing her thang, and there's nothing we can do about it.
The 22-year-old recently posted a photo of herself on Instagram, in which she's sporting a pair of leather overalls and pink heart nipple pasties (emblazoned with double Js, in honour of Joan Jett). But that isn't even the most shocking part.
Upon seeing the photo, people all over the Internet zeroed in on the performer's visible armpit hair. Yep. Armpit hair. Naturally, everyone freaked out.
Like many celebs before her (read: Madonna, Julia Roberts, Juliette Lewis), the "Bangerz" songstress has sparked a debate online about where women are "allowed" to grow hair. The Internet is divided -- some are team grow, while others are team let it go.
So we ask you now: Why is it seemingly okay for men to have armpit hair (and body hair in general) but not women? And why are we still even debating this. It's 2015 -- if women want to grow out their body hair, we say, go for it! All the power to you!
And this isn't even the first time Cyrus has let a little hair hang out. Back in 2014, the pop star showed off what looked like hairy pits when she debuted her "Dirty Hippie" art collection during New York Fashion Week.
We say, don't stop being you Miley!
