What's scarier than another giant Conservative omnibus bill? Not much according to a new NDP ad.
Dubbed "Tale Of The Monster Budget Bill," the simple site asks users to ring a doorbell on a house illustrated to resemble 24 Sussex Drive, the Prime Minister's Residence.
"No treats," a voice croaks out. Ring the doorbell enough time and a scary-looking pile of papers (the Tory Omnibus bill we presume) leaps out at you and screams out "No treats."
The site then invites you to tweet, facebook or e-mail a link to the page.
"Just in time for Hallowe'en: Stephen Harper's latest franken-budget bill rears its terrifying head.
Spoiler: No treats! Just more dirty tricks for you and your family," reads the form e-mail you can send out.
It's clearly no "Monster Mash" or "Thriller" but it might be better than the last NDP attempt at an attack ad.
The Liberals have a more traditional campaign against the Conservative bill and have decided to try to collect signatures for an online petition.
