Neil Patrick Harris' Family Doesn't Disappoint With This Year's Costume

“Hooray for Halloween!”

Neil Patrick Harris and his family are known for their epic Halloween costumes, and now the 43-year-old has finally revealed this year’s theme: old Hollywood glam.

“Hooray for Halloween!” he captioned a family photo on Instagram.

In the adorable snap, Harris is dressed as actor and comedian Groucho Marx, complete with a grey wig, cigar and a thick, burly moustache. His husband, David Burtka, is decked out in a full suit, posing as Charlie Chaplin, while their six-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon, are dressed as the iconic stars Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.

Just last month, Harris appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and revealed that he takes dressing up for Halloween “very seriously.” But now that the twins are getting older, Harris joked, “They’re starting to have more of an opinion, which is a little bit annoying.”

However, last year’s “Star Wars” costume was an easy one to pull off since both twins are big fans of the film franchise and needed no persuading.

In the past, the family has also gone as Gotham City characters.

And as the cast of “Alice in Wonderland.”

But our favourite, by far, has to be from 2011 when Harper and Gideon were just one year old and took on a Neverland theme with their parents.

One of the happiest and blessed family I've ever seen so far! 💋❤️

We can’t wait to see what group costume they come up with next!
