Rihanna And Her Fiery Red Hair Front Vanity Fair's November Issue

Rihanna gets personal.

There's no doubt that Vanity Fair has had some of the best magazine covers of the year thus far. First came a Jennifer Lawrence cover that featured the actress posing naked alongside a snake (#scary). Then there was Taylor Swift and her cover that dubbed her the "Most Influential 25-Year-Old" in the world. And who could forget the most talked about issue of the year -- "I Am Cait" and Caitlyn Jenner's introduction to the world.

Now, the legendary glossy has scored Rihanna for their November 2015 cover.

For her first Vanity Fair cover shoot, the Caribbean goddess travelled with the VF team, lead by style director Jessica Diehl and famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, to Havana, Cuba for a shoot that would make Rihanna "Rihanna." The cover welcomes back her fiery hot red hair via her "Loud" album era (and we couldn't be happier about it). Wearing a turquoise Valentino couture underpinning, Diehl said the shoot was no "fashion show," it was simply Rihanna in Cuba.

The spread features a mix of designers: Ralph Lauren, Dior, Valentino and many lesser-know creators. "Rihanna is not someone who’s a slave to designer brands," Diehl reveals, "She’ll go and put on whatever she likes."

The candid cover story, which touches upon her former relationship with Chris Brown and her views on Rachel Dolezal, goes in-depth about the 27-year-old's reality versus her "bad girl" reputation.

This isn't the only cover that Rihanna will front come November. She revealed last week that she will be Fader's cover girl for their 100th issue.
