Rob Ford Steals Rocker Matt Mays' Seat At Buffalo Bills Football Game, Mays Live-Tweets The Incident

Rob Ford Stole 'Cocaine Cowgirl' Singer's Seat At NFL Game

East Coast rocker Matt Mays was simply trying to enjoy Sunday afternoon's NFL game between the Buffalo Bills and the Atlanta Falcons when someone was sitting in his seat: Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.

Mays was apparently trying to locate his seat at Toronto's Rogers Centre for the tilt when he realized the controversial politician was in the seat Mays was assigned. Mays then tweeted about what was transpiring:

Other outlets such as Deadspin as well as journalists retweeted Mays' dilemma with TSN journalist Dave Hodge chiming in:

Various photos of Ford sitting at the game soon emerged via Twitter, including one of him eating what appeared to be a chicken wing as well as others.

Meanwhile, National Post sports columnist Bruce Arthur reminded others via Twitter that Mays had once recorded the song "Cocaine Cowgirl" which appeared on his 2005 album "Matt Mays and El Torpedo."

Less than an hour later, Mays was able to get his seat back but didn't elaborate much.

Mays released his last studio album "Coyote" in 2012.
