Five Reasons Why The Single Life Is Better Than Being In A Relationship

No date? No problem.

Don't believe the kissy faces your couple friends post on social media — living the single life means you get to enjoy all sorts of benefits those in relationships don't get to experience.

It might seem like you're the only single friend sometimes, but flying solo could be the new normal. Over 60 per cent of millennials report they aren't going steady with anyone, a Gallup poll finds.

Not only does being single mean you're healthier and richer (Ho ho holiday savings, anyone?), but it also means that no romance equals no drama.

Another benefit? Flexibility. Without anyone to check in with, you'll have more time for doing what you love instead of tagging along with your significant other's shenanigans.

And you definitely won't miss all the space a partner takes up in bed. Go on and hog the blankets.
