Hudson's Bay has unveiled the official Team Canada Collection for the 2015 Pan Am/ParapanAm games, and it's pretty stellar.

The collection is inspired by the 50 year anniversary of the Canadian flag, and uses the maple leaf as a starting point for the graphics showcased throughout the collection. Each of the garments in the 22-piece collection is reminiscent of a classic varsity sport, but contains a modern edge. The collection was designed to make the athletes feel strong, confident and powerful as they compete on the Pan Am and Parapan Am stage.

"Hudson’s Bay is incredibly proud to be a Premier National Partner of the Canadian Olympic Committee and Canadian Paralympic Committee and to be the Official Outfitter of the Canadian Pan Am and Parapan Am Teams," said Liz Rodbell, President, Hudson’s Bay. "Hudson’s Bay has dressed Team Canada for these Games since 2007 and we remain committed to supporting our athletes. We can't wait to see what they will accomplish in Toronto this summer."

"The uniforms look and feel fantastic," said Jason Burnett, two-time Olympian, Beijing 2008 silver medallist. "The maple leaf has always been a huge symbol of pride for Canadians so it is only fitting that this has been incorporated into the kit."

The collection aims to unite sport and style. It features plenty of bold red, along with white, grey and black. A modernized maple leaf is also shown on the pieces. The words, "en guarde" are also printed on the inside of many of the garments to provide the athletes with a call to action; "En Guarde" means to take a position for action, to be prepared and ready.

Pieces in the collection will range from $30 to $140 and are available to purchase at Hudson's Bay in stores and online.

We have no doubt our athletes will kick butt during the games, and they'll look darn good doing it.
