P.E.I. Seniors Home Transforms Into Tim Hortons To Surprise Residents

Plenty of people are seeking out feelings of normalcy right now, and the residents at a P.E.I. nursing home are no exception.

After weeks of quarantine for COVID-19, the seniors at Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge in Belfast, P.E.I. missed two things more than anything else — their family, and some sweet treats from Tim Hortons.

So the staff decided to bring the coffee shop to them, drive-thru, doughnut selection and all. Watch the video above to see the nice surprise.
