Fight night is coming back to Vancouver as Rogers Arena is set to host UFC 174 on June 14, the ultimate fighting organization announced Wednesday.
The fight card hasn't been set yet but mixed martial arts fans in the city are no doubt excited for the event's return after a three-year hiatus. Vancouver last hosted UFC 131 in 2011, when Junior Dos Santos defeated Shane Carwin, and UFC 115, when Carlos Condit defeated Rory MacDonald.
UFC 174 is one of five events to be held in Canada this year, alongside bouts in Quebec City, Halifax, Toronto and Montreal.
The organization will also bring UFC Experience, an interactive fan event, to smaller communities in B.C., Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan between May and August. The events include exclusive viewing parties of global pay-per-view events.
