Given all the growing research evidence on alternative therapies I wonder if our current medical system is old. Both the insurance companies and the government have not kept up with time. These services are scientifically studied to help, so is this truly a universal health care?

The G7 committed to eliminating the use of the fossil fuels by the end of the century. Canada and Alberta should be leading the transition, taking advantage of our tremendous solar and wind resources and supporting workers and communities in the process.

My community is largely based in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, 200 km downstream from current tar sands development. It's a place of great beauty and history, but we are now at risk from irreversible impacts that will permanently change our lands and our lives forever. The immediacy of the crisis demands attention, which is why I am so honoured to be on tour with Neil Young and Diana Krall as we travel across Canada to raise awareness and resources to defend ourselves from wanton development and interests that don't seem to care about our rights or our community.

While many of us dislike the idea of paying taxes, we are actually already being taxed for our fossil fuel use by collectively paying for upgrades to our infrastructure. Taxing the product that's actually causing the harm would cause markets to shift; we would become more interested in seeking less costly solutions to meet the needs that are presently being met by fossil fuels.
