When I previously discussed why Canadians may be barred from the United States if they admit to smoking marijuana, I did not discuss what options might be available if a Canadian is actually barred by United States Customs and Border Protection ("USCBP") based on criminal grounds. I will now address this issue.

Those who oppose the ban shouldn't insist that it's so obvious a rights violation that it doesn't merit explanation. It is impudent to simply dismiss a large majority of Canadians who support the idea of a niqab ban at a citizenship ceremony, as misguided as that may be.

Keeping wild animals trapped in cages and killing them by gassing or anal electrocution is inherently inhumane, and the toxic runoff from fur farms and the chemicals used to treat fur are extraordinarily harmful to the environment. This is why Humane Society International/Canada and thousands of Canadians are calling for a federal ban on fur farming.
