It's time to quit.
It's time for that fresh start.
I admit I have a very bad habit that is incredibly annoying. OK, so I have many annoying habits. But today I'll talk about just one: I cut people off when they're speaking. I don't intend to be rude; I just seem to think that I know where the other person is going and that I can get there faster.
Why is it so tough to remember to floss? I rarely run into a patient who can't remember to brush their teeth twice a day, but even the most conscientious among us come to their hygiene appointment anxious and awaiting the hygienist's lecture about flossing.
This habit we have in North America of making resolutions and laughing at ourselves for breaking them is our collective way of accepting the status quo. But the cream of the crop manage to make enough change to stay on top. You can too. Want to know the secret?
