If you are new to packing nut free lunches, it can be a challenge. PB & J is one of the most reliable kid foods in existence; what do you do when your star player has been benched? As a vegetarian mom, it took me a while to wrap my head around packing a nutrient-dense lunch without the nuts. With a bit of planning, however, you can find great foods that your kids love to eat.
Ditch the "drink as much water as possible when exercising" and "always drink eight to 10 cups of water during daily life" mentality! Fitness professionals used to be told to advise everyone to drink as much as possible when working out, and to always drink a minimum of eight to 10 glasses of water per day. Turns out, neither guideline is ideal.
If the only veggies that you serve to your kids are hidden, then you're teaching them that one only needs to eat mac and cheese and chocolate cake.
With each passing month that Scarlett continues to grow, the inevitable transition to solid foods continues to creep up on me.
