dating etiquette

We don't see it much these days, but chivalry still matters, especially in the beginning stages of a relationship. It's always nice if a man opens the door for his date, offers his jacket on a chilly night, pulls out her chair, picks up the tab, and walks his date to the door and gives her a gentle kiss on the cheek (with no other expectations).
The average U.S. couple is expected to spend about $160 on a romantic dinner for two on Valentine’s Day, up from $142 last
Even the best of dates can awkward when the bill hits the table. Avoid a drawn-out exchange of "I'll get it," "No, I insist, I'll get it." If someone really wants to treat you, let them and graciously thank them. If the night is going well and you want to reciprocate, you could offer to carry on someplace else for dessert.
There's no point in going easy on someone when they behave badly in a relationship because when we tolerate disrespect, we give the other person can continue to mistreat us. If men and women were to follow four simple rules, I think that fewer feelings would be hurt and a lot less time would be wasted.
