gratitude journal

Gratitude is a state of feeling grateful towards something or someone, and it comes from the Latin word "gratus," which mean pleasing, agreeable and thankful -- so to be grateful is to be filled with thanks.
In life there always seems to be more to want, have and be, however making sure to be grateful for those things in life that truly matter is not only good for your health but also the health of humanity.
December is the month when I experience the most stress to live up to everyone's expectations. Be a good Mom. Be an amazing business owner. Be at every event. Continue to grow your empire. Don't forget anything. Be yourself...but better...tenfold.
In the spirit of giving thanks, I decided to go public with some of the entries in my gratitude journal. My goal was to compile a list of things that not only myself, but many others can also feel thankful for. As you read this list, try to figure out how many of these blessings you have experienced in your own life.
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, I thank you for being part of my community just by virtue of reading this post (and for those who are part of my life in other ways). And let's all spread more of the gift of gratitude -- to that end, here are a few more whys and ways to express gratitude.
