Montreal real estate
Quebec's largest city has overtaken Vancouver as the number-two housing market in Canada.
This is a case of realtors crafting a narrative.
"Be patient and know exactly what you want."
Where Old World charm meets Canadian comfort.
"[It's] the most beautiful section of Montreal. Every building here is a piece of art on its own."
Every city has its hotspot -- the coolest community, the hippest 'hood. It's the place where the stylemakers go, where the trendsetters do their thing. It's about knowing where to go, where to be seen.
We can neither confirm nor deny that Buffalo Bill is hiding in the basement.
And it's NOT foreign investment.
Unlike most other goods or services that financial assets are based on, real estate responds to an innate desire -- the desire to have a piece of this earth one can call his own. This basic yearning has been, in my opinion, the driving force of the real estate market, and the reason I continue to believe in it.
