real housewives of vancouver season 2
The end is finally here, and I haven't felt this elated for an ending since the closing credits for Pearl Harbor. It has been a long season with these haute-couture harridans and I'm ecstatic to have them out my life. So let's get on with it, shall we?
Jody and Amanda try to solidify their stranglehold on the housewives' social circle. After failing to land Robin, they try Ioulia, and they momentarily succeed when Mary backs out of the elegant Russian's birthday at the last minute, but they just can't seem to land the big fish. Meanwhile, Mary is organizing her own birthday party, and Jody organizes a competing event to sabotage it.
Things get out of control when Ronnie inexplicably goes off the wagon after being sober for a long period of time. Even though they're on vacation, there's no relaxation to be had -- fur flies, fingers point and voices raise for this hot-tempered episode.
Ronnie and Mary come to a turning point in their relationship after the Amazon's mental breakdown in the last episode. Ioulia stands up for herself better than any of the other housewives, confronting Amanda about why she has such a problem with her. Meanwhile, Jody continues to bask in the limelight of starring on Top Chef Canada, pretending she's BFF's with Toronto's elite class. As usual, all hell breaks loose every time these hags get together.
Let's see what we have this week: a nip slip, some serious cat fights, a butt lift, a naked man in a pool and the redemption of an oft-maligned victim. Yes, this episode of Real Housewives Of Vancouver delivers some epic drama.
Social sectarianism is on full display as Jody manages to isolate Mary on the fringes of the group. Ioulia hosts a saucy art party and Amanda promises to "keep my pussy in my pants, thank you very much!" Meanwhile the show-jumping grand prix approaches where Mary and Robin will sing their countries' national anthems, as viewers hope beyond hope that the Texan can pull hers off.
Mary proves she just doesn't have the wherewithal to stand up against the people who are being mean to her. She meets machine-gun fire with a rhetorical pellet gun. Meanwhile, Robin just can't accept that she's not a very good singer, Amanda tries to make peace with Ronnie and Ioulia looks to have abandoned the enterprise altogether. Who can blame her?
Battle lines are drawn as Amanda Hansen asserts her place as the new villainess among the housewives, while Jody looks to be pulling the strings in the background. Amanda and Ioulia prepare for a bikini fashion show, while Mary has some awkward news for Robin.
