NEW DELHI: The chief ministerial candidates for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal, tweeted out to voters on Saturday, urging them to vote.

While Kiran Bedi thanked the "Sun God" with a picture of the sunrise, she later tweeted out a photo of herself holding up her ink-stained finger that proves that she's cast her vote. She announced that she was off to tour her election constituency, Krishna Nagar in east Delhi. The ex-police officer has embarked in political life for the first time with this election, joining BJP weeks before the elections.

Meanwhile Kejriwal tweeted out to voters in Hindi, asking them to bathe, pray to their god, and vote for sure. He also asked Delhiites not to vote for parties that distributed alcohol, but instead vote for a "honest political party."
