Lowdown: It's one of the older pubs (resto lounge? restro-bar?) of Bangalore on Church Street. Ideal for dinner and drinks that don't burn a hole in your pocket. When you're working in and around central Bangalore, you want to wind up the day with a couple of beers and some good breeze, and this is where you need to go. Their happy hours are the kind where you get one drink free with the one you pay for. Simple.
The Local
Where: Kalyan Nagar
When: Happy hours between 11 AM and 6 PM every day
Average cost for two: ₹1200
Lowdown: Because their prices during happy hours are pretty awesome. Where else will you get classic cocktails like mojito, whiskey sour, bloody Mary, cosmopolitan and sangria for ₹195 and shooters at ₹175? A Fosters or KF mug of beer is at ₹75 and a pitcher comes at ₹330. They've also got some good finger food to go with the booze—think chicken nachos, mutton masala fry and tempura fried veggies. Good times guaranteed.
Tippler—On The Roof
Where: Indiranagar
When: Happy hours all day on Monday, Tue-Sun noon to 8 PM

Lowdown: Because Moltov Mondays! Till the 1st of May, on every Monday they have a special offers menu. For ₹55 there's Old Monk rum, a mug of KF draught, Magic Moments vodka among other drinks and a selection of chasers. For ₹75 there's Bacardi rum and Eristoff vodka, along with food like French fries, paprika mushrooms and stuffed veg kulcha. There's a ₹95 menu with more drinks and food. And Tue-Sun there's a 1+1 offer on draught beer and a 2+1 on domestic liquor and cocktails.
Three Dots & A Dash
Where: Indiranagar
When: Happy hours between 12 noon and 5 PM (Mon-Thur)

Lowdown - Because it's a fun place with lots of good cocktails. The offer is a 1+1 on house spirits, beer, house wines, select cocktails and shooters. They also have a summer special cocktail menu with cocktails like strawberry summer bash (Bacardi, lime juice, strawberry puree, mint leaves, triple sec), summer escapes (vodka, fresh mango, lime juice) and more.
The Open Box

Lowdown: Because you can't say no to sangria. Get unlimited sangria, beer and their signature cocktails at ₹888 for three full hours during their happy hours.
