This Indian Man Set A World Record By Hugging 79 Humans In Under A Minute

Watch This Indian Man Break World Record By Hugging 79 Humans In Just A Minute

What can you do in a minute? Break an egg, delete 10 emails and probably make half-cooked Maggi. Well, Hyderabad resident Krishan Kumar hugged 79 humans in that time and set a world record. Yes, 79.

The Guinness Book Of World Records describes him as the most "affectionate record breaker".

In his endeavour to spread love, Kumar went to a school in Andhra Pradesh and made 88 students queue up to participate in the speed-hugging challenge.

The Guinness Book Of World Records posted a video of Kumar, and let's just say it's the most hilarious thing you will see today.

Kumar starts off confidently and within seconds, it appears as if he has been left in a swimming pool, struggling to embrace the queue of kids running towards him.

It didn't help that the school children were of different sizes.

Kumar tried to ensure that none of them got away.

Unfortunately, one did.

Kumar attempted to hug 83 people but unfortunately the Guinness World Records records management team disqualified a number of squeezes which were more "headlocks than hugs."

The previous record for the most hugs given in one minute by an individual was 77, achieved by Carrie Bickmore at the Huggies Hugs for Healing event at the Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick, New South Wales, Australia, in 2014.

Well done, Kumar.
