NEW DELHI — A Delhi court has refused to hear TERI Director General R K Pachauri's plea to travel abroad for the Global Water Summit.
The sessions court judge instead asked Pachauri to move his plea before the concerned Metropolitan Magistrate who has territorial jurisdiction on the matter.

Pachauri, the 75-year-old ex-chairman of the United Nation's climate change panel IPCC, is being investigated in a sexual harassment case. He had to step down from his position in February this year.
He is a globally influential voice on climate change and received the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of IPCC in 2007.
The water summit will be held in Athens, Greece on April 27 & 28.
