Delhi has a total of 47,102 cases of Covid-19 — 27,741 active cases and 1,904 deaths — according to the Union health ministry.
“The Centre should have acted quickly to control the violence,” Atishi said and accused BJP leader Kapil Mishra of making “hate speeches”.

She was pitted against BJP's Gautam Gambhir, who is currently leading, and Congress’ Arvinder Singh Lovely.
He was locked in a bitter fight against Congress' Arvinder Singh Lovely and AAP's Atishi.
This comes after AAP accused Gambhir of circulating a pamphlet with "derogatory" remarks against Atishi.
On Thursday, Gambhir had said he would withdraw from the Lok Sabha contest if the charge was proved against him.

Gambhir, who is pitted against Atishi in East Delhi, said he will withdraw his candidature if AAP can prove that he did this.
